This rating applies only to breakfast, as we have not eaten here any other time. We are staying at the St. Johnsville Marina Campground and were craving a nice big breakfast. One of the "seasonal" residents of the campground enthusiastically sent us to the Hungry Bear. Good thing because if we had just gone looking for a place we would have missed one - it is a few miles north of town. We both had the $9.95 Hungry Bear Breakfast, with two eggs, ham, two pancakes, home fries, and fruit juice. It was a big plate full of food and every bite was delicious. I added blueberries to my pancakes, and they were FULL of fresh berries.The place was full of locals, including what appeared to be the entire volunteer fire department, but service was still excellent, with all the staff really hustling.
